Equal Opportunity, Harassment,
and Nondiscrimination Policy

In accordance with the Equal Opportunity, Harassment, and Nondiscrimination Policy, an Equity Resolution process is in place for the reporting, investigation, and resolution of reported incidents. This policy covers discrimination for age, disability, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, nationality, physical appearance, race, religion, sexual orientation, perceived sexual orientation, socio-economic status or class, or veteran status.

When a complaint is filed against a member of the Seminary community, the Equity Resolution Process (ERP) applies regardless of the status of the reporting party, member or non-member of the community, including students, student organizations, faculty, administrators, staff, board members, guests, and visitors.

Columbia Theological Seminary encourages all individuals to report any instance of harassment, discrimination, bias, violence, sexual assault, or sex/gender-based assault, harassment, or misconduct.
